Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Radio Personality to join our team. Essential Duties

  • Research and identify funding opportunities from new sources and existing funders
  • Maintain detailed and accurate tracking of funders and funding calendars including schedules for funding announcements and application deadlines

  • Serve as the organization’s primary grant writer and proposal editor
  • Organize proposal documents and assist in timely submission of proposals to funders

The Account Manager supports Account Executives’ sales efforts by taking ownership of fulfillment in such a way that the AE can play their role of being client-facing, creating opportunities and closing revenue. The Account Manager manages the day-to-day responsibilities of accounts to ensure proper implementation of their solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Works in tandem with Account Executives, Marketing Director, Research Director, and Creative Services to support client needs.
  • Attend sales meetings and sales trainings to gain sales, product and process information and keep abreast of company products and services to articulate to client, when appropriate.
  • Partner with designated Account Executives in identifying new/incremental revenue based on campaign results.
  • Assist designated Account Executives with maintenance of contracts, generating avails, traffic, make-goods, collection and overall customer service.
  • Regular tracking of clients’ audience delivery using ratings, impressions, clients KPIs, and campaign fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with team to set up new customer accounts, contracts, order entry and revisions.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of account management in a professional, fast-paced media sales environment.
  • Track record of successfully retaining and growing clients.
  • Knowledge of marketing solutions including broadcasting and digital advertising is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and advertising solutions is highly desirable.

What We Need:

We're seeking an Outside Account Executive in the Rochester, MN market!

                                                                             

What You'll Do:

  • Immerse yourself in learning iHeartMedia’s Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products (we are constantly innovating and growing!)

  • Meet in person with clients in your market

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects in Salesforce

  • Foster and nurture relationships with the existing client base

  • Identify new opportunities and develop persuasive proposals to meet each client/agency evolving needs

  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets

  • Create effective marketing campaigns in line with the iHeartMedia brand and resources

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations with confidence

  • Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction

  • Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads

  • Negotiate rates and ensures prompt payments

  • Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis
