Broadcasters Strengthen Local Communities

Local broadcasters have faithfully served communities across the state for decades. They run critical information about public safety, advocate for their economy by supporting small businesses, organize and contribute to events serving community organizations and more.

MBA's Broadcasters Week of Kindness is set for the week of August 5th, 2024! Organize a fundraiser, clean up a local park, volunteer at the local animal shelter, get involved during National Night Out and plan to join us this year!

The 2023 MBA Broadcasters Week of Kindness included stations raising over $332,000 for community organizations, serving, packing and collecting 204,200 meals for local food shelves, donating hundreds of volunteer hours to picking up trash, organizing community events and supporting animal shelters, donating movie passes to those being kind in the community, stuffing busses with thousands of school supplies for local students and teachers and bringing awareness to organizations that support veterans, cancer patients and underserved communities. Congratulations to all broadcasters on the amazing work you do to serve and give back to your community!
