Executive Producer

WCCO-TV in Minneapolis/St. Paul is seeking an Executive Producer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-  Coordinate strategy and execution of news on all platforms

-  Motivate our team to create unique, visual, emotional and compelling content

-  Lead aggressive coverage of all breaking news and weather events

-  Be a champion for good culture and stand-out storytelling

-  Review and copyedit scripts to ensure they are accurate and meet all CBS News standards

-  Guide promotions strategies ahead of newscasts

-  Collaborate with news managers to push forward multi-platform content across all dayparts

-  Understand brand and manage broadcast and digital platforms so product is consistent with the brand

-  Use social media and digital tools to research, discover and distribute content

-  Coach and inspire on-air talent, producers and photographers to work and collaborate well

-  Hold regular critique and feedback sessions

-  Work with News Director and Assistant News Director to own all station events and community outreach projects

-  Complete additional duties as assigned by News Director

Digital Content Producer

KMWE-TV Telemundo Minnesota is seeking an Account Executive.

Primary Responsibilities: • Generate new business revenue across linear and digital platforms • Create and present marketing and advertising campaigns and proposals • Manage and develop an active account list along with client relationships • Develop new relationships in the community by networking, cold calling, and referrals • Works closely with other station departments to meet all account maintenance requirements • Meets all revenue goals and communicates activity and forecast with General Sales Manager

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred • Minimum of 2 years proven sales success; broadcast TV experience a plus • Knowledge of media sales, media math and research a plus • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, teamoriented environment • Great networking skills • Solid negotiation skills • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
