District 6

Leighton Broadcasting (Districts 1,6,7) All Leighton Broadcasting stations in St. Cloud, Fergus Falls, Alexandria, Winona and Detroit Lakes participated in the "Gratitude on Repeat" campaign which encouraged its listeners to nominate a non-profit to receive $25,000 in radio advertising. This campaign has helped local non-profits raise $1,000,000 since the campaign's inception. The "Gratitude On Repeat" campaign recipients include Alexandria Area YMCA, Cornerstone Community and Youth Center, SOmeplace Safe, Ruff Start Rescue and Home and Community Options.

KLCI-FM (District 6) Elk River hosted its annual broadcast which collects donations and raises awareness during the Alzheimer's Association Longest Day Campaign. The on-air broadcast collected $2,300 to support Alzheimer's Association programs.

KLCI FM, KBGY FM, WLKX FM, WQPM AM, KASM AM, KDDG FM, WCMN LD Elk River (District 6) Through the sales of the Minnesota Country Salutes CD, $28,000 was raised for the Minnesota Military Family Foundation and Wheels of Honor-MN. The BOB-FM Minnesota Country Salutes CD has raised $230,000 over the past eight years. Throughout the year, Milestone Radio stations also donate advertising schedules to Reach for Resources, Fishing for Life, Haven for Heroes, The Minnesota Military Family Foundation and Minnesota Wheels of Honor. 

Townsquare Media St. Cloud and its stations KMXK-FM, KZRV-FM, KXSS-AM, KLZZ-FM, WWJO-FM, WJON-AM (District 6) The Townsquare Media St. Cloud stations hosted weekly call-in opportunities for local restaurants to help increase takeout orders. Stations also purchased gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses for giveaway on the stations. Townsquare Media stations in St. Cloud also host weekly conversations with Dr. George Morris from CentraCare to answer listener questions about COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccinations.
