Job Description:
The Radio Market Manager will oversee the station operations, including sales, programming, promotions, and community engagement.
You will be responsible for managing a team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the station delivers exceptional content. This role requires a leader who can manage day-to-day operations while developing long-term strategies for success in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the radio station's operations, including programming, sales, and promotions.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, advertisers, and community organizations.
- Oversee the station’s content to ensure it aligns with audience preferences and complies with FCC regulations.
- Hire, train, and mentor on-air and sales staff to foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Represent the station at community events and maintain a visible presence in the local market.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in radio station management, media sales, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing and sales initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and broadcasting standards.
