Radio Account Executive

Santamaria Broadcasting (La Raza 1400 and 1470 AM) has an immediate opening for an aggressive, street smart individual to close his/her share of the millions of dollars spent to reach Hispanics in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market. It is not necessary to speak Spanish, as this sales rep, will be calling on English-speaking accounts.

Minneapolis-St. Paul is a top 20 Arbitron market as well as a top 20 Hispanic market. The right individual will have a huge earning potential by selling to the thousands of local companies with an interest in growing their business exponentially by tapping into the Hispanic market.

We provide our teams with a great product to sell, superior training tools, and a sales management system that supports business development and rewards performance.

Responsibilities include: prospecting, setting appointments, creative client presentations, and achieving a sales quota. Because we have a systems approach to sales, you must have a deep appreciation for process, performance measurement, employee development, and a results-oriented sales approach.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • General market radio sales experience preferred, Spanish not required
  • Would consider other media sales background
  • Prefer candidate with established business relationships in the market
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and account management
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
