Qualifications
- Must be strong in customer service, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, personable, outgoing, creative, organized and a self-starter
- Project an appropriate company image with respect to dress and demeanor, as well as maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Ability to work independently and operate effectively in high-pressure, time-critical situations.
- Must be familiar with Twin Cities Live, 45TV, and KSTP 5 Eyewitness news brand and programming
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings as well as some day time hours. Punctuality and attendance are critical.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving history as determined by the Company (driving record will be checked)
Job Overview
Represent KSTP 5 Eyewitness News, Twin Cities Live, and 45TV at the Minnesota State Fair.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up banners, tents, giveaways, prize wheel, etc. at station events
- Represent KSTP 5 Eyewitness News, Twin Cities Live, 45TV, plus digital sub channels (MeTV & AntennaTV) at station events with a high level of customer service while interacting with the general public, clients and on air talent.
- During events may operate sound systems; cameras and interactive games; engages audience; drives traffic to station location.
- Work as a team with clients and KSTP-TV employees, i.e., promotions, on-air talent, sales. Provides support in the coordination and execution of the station's event marketing efforts
- Drive station vehicles to and from station events
