R & J Broadcasting, Inc. is hiring a full time Play by Play Sports Announcer and Broadcast Sales Representative to serve the Fosston, Thief River Falls, and surrounding Northern Minnesota area. This position has a current active customer list with tremendous growth opportunities. Duties will include selling advertising time for radio, digital, video streaming, and region cable TV. Applicant will serve an existing account list while continuing to prospect for new accounts. Play by Play responsibilities include live play by play of local sporting events for radio, video streaming and regional cable TV broadcasts. Additional duties include conducting interviews with coaches and players and writing for website and social media posts.
Wage plus talent and commission pay structure, anticipated year one $50-$70K. Full Time benefits package offered, includes health insurance, life insurance, IRA match and more.
