Part-Time Sports Play-by-Play Announcer

Marshall Radio is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable sports fan to join our award-winning sports team as a Part-Time Play-by-Play Announcer.
In this role, you'll broadcast live high school sporting events throughout southwest Minnesota, bringing the excitement of the game to listeners with accurate, engaging, and professional play-by-play coverage.
Responsibilities include preparing for broadcasts by researching teams and athletes, arriving on-site for games, working with broadcast equipment, and representing Marshall Radio in a positive, community-focused manner. The ideal candidate has a passion for sports, strong communication skills, the ability to think quickly under pressure, and a dependable work ethic. Previous broadcasting experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to train the right individual.
This is a part-time position with evening and weekend hours during the sports seasons.
