Job Overview
Represent KSTP 5 Eyewitness News, Twin Cities Live, and 45TV at the Minnesota State Fair.
Job Responsibilities
Represent KSTP 5 Eyewitness News, Twin Cities Live, Minnesota Live and 45TV at the Minnesota State Fair with a high level of customer service while interacting with the general public, clients and on air talent.
May operate sound systems; interactive games; engage audience; and drives traffic to station location.
Work as a team with clients and KSTP-TV employees, i.e., promotions, on-air talent, sales.
Provides support in the coordination and execution of the station's event marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Must be strong in customer service, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, personable, outgoing, creative, organized and a self-starter. Project an appropriate company image with respect to dress and demeanor, as well as maintain a positive attitude at all times. Ability to work independently and operate effectively in high-pressure, time-critical situations.
Must be familiar with Twin Cities Live, 45TV, and KSTP 5 Eyewitness news brand and programming.
Punctuality and attendance are critical.
Additional Information
This position is subject to pre-employment driving record background check. A conviction, violation pending adjudication, or adverse driving record more than 3 years old or does not meet the major violation definition per company policy will not, on its own, disqualify an applicant. The company will use background check information in a confidential, non-discriminatory manner consistent with applicable federal, state and local law.
Compensation and Benefits
When extending an offer, the company considers a variety of factors such as (but not limited to) the candidate's work experience, education/training & key skills as well as internal peer equity and other market and business considerations.
The hourly pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.
