Hubbard Broadcasting is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant.
Hubbard Broadcasting Inc., is the parent company of several media companies including Hubbard Television, Hubbard Radio, REELZ, F&F Productions and 2060 Digital. Based in St. Paul, MN, this family-run business has been in operations for nearly 100 years.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service in greeting guests, scheduling meetings, and answering calls
- Proactively assist attorneys in managing their workloads and legal matters
- Facilitate communication between and among attorneys and HBI's corporate and market personnel
- Manage intake of legal matters and communicating status updates while proactively managing important deadlines
- Draft, revise, and proofread agreements, correspondence, and other documents
- Organize and maintain legal records, agreements, and files
- Assist with managing contacts, emails, printing, and mail processing
- Send and track signature pages and original documents
- Process invoices and attorney reimbursements
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
When extending an offer, the company considers a variety of factors such as (but not limited to) the candidate's work experience, education/training & key skills as well as internal peer equity and other market and business considerations.
The hourly pay range for this position is $33.50 - $41.00.

Job Overview
Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. (HBI) is seeking a skilled and driven Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA). HBI's LAA will provide senior administrative support to attorneys in HBI's legal department and will report to HBI's Chief Legal Officer. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and will be service-oriented and professional. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment in the broadcasting and media industry. This position is based in house at HBI's corporate headquarters in St Paul, Minnesota.
Qualifications
- Education beyond high school, training related to the legal industry, or prior LAA or administrative experience (or a combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of the position)
- Five+ years of experience in a professional services environment, such as a law firm or company legal department; and
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) (advanced Word proficiency preferred, e.g., bookmarks/cross-references, footnotes, formatting, tables, etc.)
- Self-motivated, service-oriented, and eager to learn
- Maintain a high level of discretion and preserve strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information and matters
- Acts in a professional manner, has a strong work ethic, and high level of dependability and accountability in all tasks
- Strong team player, skilled at managing projects and coordinating with others to meet deadlines
- Able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and assist attorneys in prioritizing tasks and deadlines
- Highly organized and able to manage workflow
- Able to take ownership of requests and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Communicate clearly and professionally at all levels and across the organization
