Are you passionate about broadcasting and media, curious about what really happens behind the mic and the camera, and ready to dive into the fast-paced world of broadcasting? The Minnesota Broadcasters Association (MBA) is looking for an energetic, creative, and detail-savvy intern to join our team!
What You’ll Do:
- Help Amplify MBA Events: Support MBA events, including our Annual Conference and Hall of Fame celebration. Assist with promotion and logistics.
- Tell Our Story: Contribute to our social media channels, newsletters, and website by writing fresh, engaging content.
- Connect with Industry Pros: Connect with broadcasters, media leaders, and influencers across the state.
- Learn the Ropes: Dive into media advocacy, public affairs, and the unique role broadcasters play in serving Minnesota communities.
- Get Creative: Pitch ideas, design graphics, edit short videos.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Are studying communications, journalism, public relations, media production, marketing, or a related field.
- Are a strong writer, communicator.
- Are familiar with Associated Press Style and have taken Jour 3279W: Professional Writing for Strategic Communication to be considered.
- Are organized, self-starting, and able to juggle tasks without dropping the mic.
- Have a curious mind and a sense of humor.

Salary Range:
- $15.25- $16.25/hourly based on experience.
- Minimum 8 hours per week
