Job Summary/Description:

KTTC has an immediate opening for a General Sales Manager to lead our sales strategies on our every level – local, national, regional, and digital.
Candidate must possess strong leadership and the highest level of customer service and sales skills, along with a proven track record of success with strategic planning and negotiating. The General Sales Manager is responsible for achieving station revenue goals, inventory management for the station platforms and keeping track of trends that will affect marketing strategies in the future.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

*Develop and implement strategic revenue plans.
*Drive share growth through creativity and collaborating on customized solutions for our clients outside of traditional spot dollars.
*Manage inventory control, develop rate structure, and keep orders flowing into the traffic system.
*Accurately track and forecast pending business.
*Manage political sales.
*Keep track/implement new tools available for effective sales.

Qualifications/Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree in business or a related degree is preferred but not required.
*3 years in broadcast direct, new business, and transactional business.
*Proven track record of leadership, budget attainment and sales success.
*Well versed and adept in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*Extensive knowledge of TV station industry.
*WideOrbit, Rate Optics and/or Matrix experience a plus.
*Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
*Track record of creative idea generation.
