The Linder Farm Network and KOWZ Radio are looking for a farm reporter at their Owatonna, MN location. The job will include a combination of ag reporting and news or ag reporting and announcer. Candidate will be trained on the job for all of the duties. An ag background is preferred.
This is a full-time job and salary will be commensurate with experience. The Linder Farm Network is one of the top networks in the country and is heard on over 40 radio station across Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct research and gather information for news stories
-Conduct interviews with sources and gather quotes for news stories
-Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in order to identify newsworthy stories
Requirements:
-Experience in Journalism, Ad Communications, or a related field preferred
-Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Familiarity with AP Stylebook guidelines
