Digital Content Leader

KBJR-TV in Duluth, MN is looking for a digital content leader to join our team. The Digital Content Manager will be hands on with digital content and lead KBJR’s digital coverage.

The DCM will manage all communication regarding product/platform updates and best practices for KBJR and its digital properties. This team member will have a digital-first mindset and be equipped with the skill set to push coverage forward for online consumption. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with/trainable on: in-house CMS, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Chartbeat, Google Analytic and more. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.  ** Please note, the primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the information listed above **

Qualifications/Requirements:

Candidates will have experience as a digital content team member for a news outlet. Background must include, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast/digital journalism or the equivalent. This is a leadership position, so candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate others, meet project deadlines, and collaborate with other newsroom managers in day to day operations.

- Reporting or anchoring experience preferred

- Previous supervisory experience is preferred

- Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks and information under pressure are required

- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
