Responsibilities:

  • Developing relationships and business contacts to promote our broadcast, digital and marketing advertising opportunities.
  • Work with established client list, as well as develop relationships with new businesses.
  • Present advertising opportunities to clients in marquee events such as NFL football, UMD sports, Olympics, etc.
  • Create effective written presentations for submission to current and prospective advertisers.
  • Maintain and continually grow your knowledge of effective marketing principals.
  • Responsible for collection of advertising accounts.
  • Enter commercial traffic orders into Wide Orbit.
  • Monitor and report on the activity of competing media.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two-years proven media sales or business to business sales success.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Professionally represent and support station, both in policy and demeanor.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Travel Requirements:

  • Some Travel Required for corporate trainings.
