Industry advocacy at the federal and state level

MBA’s advocacy team is constantly vigilant and prepared to respond to legislative or regulatory issues that impact the broadcast industry.

FCC Alternative Inspection Program (ABIP)

Every three years, the MBA sends highly qualified inspectors to member stations across the state to ensure compliance with FCC rules and regulations. Stations that successfully pass the program are exempted from most FCC inspections. Our next inspection cycle begins in the late spring/early summer of 2020.
