2022 Political Window Dates for Minnesota

The LUC for the August 9 Primary Election begins on June 25. For the November 7 General Election, the LUC window opens on September 9.

*Minnesota will have a special election for the 1st Congressional District in Southeast Minnesota with the Primary Election on Mary 24, 2022 and special general election on August 9, 2022 to fill the U.S. House of Representatives seat held by the late Representative Jim Hagedorn. For the candidates running in the special primary, the LUC window will open on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The 60-day LUC window for the special general election will open on Friday, June 10, 2022.
